Melisa Chang - CEO
In 2002, Melisa Chang, with her husband, Shubert Chang, CPO, started Dynamic Orthopedics, Inc. with the goal to build a company that would show a compassionate environment for a predominately pediatric population.
Their commitment to excellence in every facet of patient care grew their reputation throughout South Florida. Herself an amputee since age 19, Melisa embarked on a professional journey that would give her all the prerequisites to run Dynamic Orthopedics. Melisa has Bachelor Degrees in Biology and Physical Therapy with minors in Math and Psychology. As a Physical Therapist she worked in diverse areas such as pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedic and neurological diagnoses as well as wound care and multi-trauma patients.
Melisa worked as an outpatient Physical Therapist at Memorial Regional Hospital for 17 years assisting in the development of the amputee and spinal cord injury programs. Upon taking the helm of the company after the sudden death of her husband, Melisa has not only continued to build on the foundation set by herself and Shubert, but has grown and expanded Dynamic’s scope of services.
